Palm Coast United Methodist Church is thrilled to welcome guest speaker, Rev. Pam Pirtle to their worship experiences on Sunday, September 24 at 8 & 9:30 a.m.
Rev. Pamela Pirtle is an ordained elder in the Northern Illinois Conference of the United Methodist Church (UMC). Her gifts in ministry have often been described by others as one who is a “strategic visionary and leadership developer.” She is most passionate about social justice, education, and inclusion. In addition, she is an accomplished organist and soloist who enjoys using her musical gifts in worship.
Currently, Pirtle serves as the Executive Administrative Pastor for St. Mark United Methodist Church in Chicago, Illinois. In this position, she oversees the administrative and operational processes of the church and supervises all staff. Her strategic planning successfully moved the congregation from a multi-layered administration to a one-board congregational governance model.
She is a graduate of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary (M.Div.), the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (M.A.), and National-Louis University (B.A.). Pamela is a member of several civic and community boards as well as committees with the City of Chicago Mayor’s Office, state of Illinois and more. In addition, she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. However, she considers parenting her daughter, Jaelyn Alyssa, the greatest accomplishment, and joy of her life.
“We are very excited to have Rev. Pirtle share her message with us.” Said Pastor, Dr. Kevin M. James, Sr. “Her Charismatic, real-life testimonies are inspiring, and we hope that everyone will come out to listen to her.” The Voices of Faith choir will render the music.
