In the year 1999, Palm Coast United Methodist Church (PCUMC) purchased 22 acres of land from ITT at the southeast corner of Matanzas Parkway and Belle Terre Parkway. The visionaries for the acquisition were to one day develop a new church campus. In 2012, the initial phase of development consisting of a pavilion, parking area and retention pond was completed. The plans for phase 2, the worship center, to follow. To follow has been a ten-year gap. A gap which in and of itself grew a history leading to the commencement of construction which began in the latter part of 2022; to summarize highlights:

2017 – PCUMC retained the services of the architectural firm BGW (Building God’s Way) Architecture, an acclaimed church design architectural firm located in Ogden, Utah to design the new campus.

2017 – 6 acres rezoned to Neighborhood Commercial

2019 – 2 acres sold for the development of neighborhood convenience store.

2019-2020 – 8 acres sold to Flagler Health+ (UF Health) for the anticipated development of a medical village complex.

2022 – Current campus sold to Christian Life Center

Currently, the new campus worship center is scheduled to be completed in July-August. A move-in date is scheduled for the month of September.
